Audio Guides

Audio guides are available to all visitors including groups. The audio guides are easy to operate and are available in English, German, Japanese and French.

Baby Change

There is a Baby Change room located in the courtyard and in the toilets at the Nocturnal House.

Coolamon Cafe

The air-conditioned Cafe is located in the courtyard. It is open from 9.00am to 5.00pm daily and offers a wide variety of meals including sandwiches, salads, hot food, cakes, ice cream, coffee and cold and alcoholic drinks. Make sure you check out the blackboard specials!

Drink Machines

There are drink machines and water bubblers located at various positions around the park. The machines take coins only.

First Aid

The First Aid room is located in the courtyard. All of our guides have a current First Aid Certificate.

Gift Shop

The gift shop at the entry station provides a wide range of quality souvenirs including toys, t-shirts, hats, books, jewellery and knick-knacks to aid you in remembering your journey to the Desert Park and Central Australia.

Picnic Area

The Picnic Area is located next to the right hand side of the car park upon entry. The area offers picnic tables, BBQ facilities and toilets are located near by.

Strollers

Strollers are available for free from the main courtyard area.

Toilets

There are toilets located in the courtyard, nocturnal house and picnic area. All toilets are wheel chair accessible.

Wheel Chair Hire

Electric wheelchairs can be hired from the main courtyard area. Pre-booking a wheelchair is highly recommended.
