About the Friends

The Friends of the Alice Springs Desert Park (Friends) are a group of people who volunteer some of their time in support of the Desert Park. Anyone who purchases a Territorian Pass can become involved.Picture of the Friends in action at the Park

The Friends assist the Park in many ways including seed collection, management of the many Park functions, fund raising, photography, delivering brochures and animal observation.
Friends are particularly active in fund raising to provide equipment and programs that are normally outside the Park’s reach. The Friends have produced a memento of the Park, My Desert Diary, the sales of which will help fund activities at the Desert Park.
