The Friends of the Alice Springs Desert Park are proud to publish My Desert Diary - a book featuring the outstanding artwork of Nick Pike and based on the interpretive signage of the Park.

On visiting the Desert Park you will recognise much of the book's material and it will become a greatMy Desert Diary memento of your visit to the Park, and Central Australia. My Desert Diary is a journal of an imaginary field naturalist travelling the vast desert landscape - possibly someone just like you. A valuable guide to the commonly encountered plants and animals of the Centre the book's delightful artwork and related text provides interesting insights to their fascinating behaviours and habits.
