Research

When researching:

Challenges

  1. Extrapolate from what is happening in tourism now and predict what tourism in the desert will be like in 30 years?
  2. How will Aboriginal peoples of the deserts be making a living in 30 years?
  3. Identify a range of strategies that the Aboriginal peoples will be using to protect their culture and their sacred sites?
  4. What will have been done to protect the flora and fauna/biodiversity of the deserts? What kind of problems will scientists need to answer to protect biodiversity?
  5. Imagine and describe life in a desert town 30 years from now. What kind of technology will help people live in these communities? How will town people live sustainably? What kinds of new jobs will be available? Will the population grow?
